Stuck? Most answers are below. If not, email support@lukasai.app and we'll get back to you within 2 working days.

Getting started

  1. Install and open Lukas AI. It opens its own window and adds an icon to the taskbar corner (tray).
  2. Agree to how it works. Nothing is watched until you do.
  3. Choose your calendar: connect Google Calendar, or use the app's own calendar (no account needed).
  4. Set up the AI: install the free Ollama program when asked, then press “Download the AI models” (about 2.5 GB, once).
  5. Plan your day: drag across empty time on the calendar to add a task. When it starts, the app starts checking.

Common questions

Google sign-in says “Google hasn't verified this app”

Click Advanced → Go to Lukas AI to continue. The app is going through Google's review.

The calendar is empty or out of date

Check Settings → Calendar shows “connected”. If Google asks you to sign in again, press Connect Google Calendar. New events show within a few minutes; the Today page refreshes by itself.

“Ollama isn't running” or the AI isn't set up

Open the Ollama app from the Start menu (it runs in the tray), then go to Settings → Get started and press Download the AI models. The app still works without the AI: it then judges by window names only.

I don't see notifications

Check that Windows notifications are on for Lukas AI (Windows Settings → System → Notifications) and that Do not disturb is off. Use Settings → Nudges → Send a test notification to check.

It said I was off task, but I wasn't

Choose “I was on task” in the notification: it remembers that page for that task. You can also fix any check under Settings → History, and see everything it learned under Settings → Learned.

Does it slow my laptop down?

It shouldn't. Under Settings → Advanced you can let the AI use fewer processor threads, keep it at low priority, and check less often.

How do I pause or turn it off?

Use Pause or the power button at the top of the app, or right-click the tray icon. Closing the window keeps it running in the tray.

How do I uninstall it and delete my data?

Uninstall it from Windows Settings → Apps. To also delete your history and settings, delete the folder %LOCALAPPDATA%\ScheduleCoach (paste that into the File Explorer address bar). If you connected Google Calendar, you can also remove its access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Still need help?

Email support@lukasai.app with what happened and your app version (shown at the bottom of Settings). If something went wrong, the error log at %LOCALAPPDATA%\ScheduleCoach\app.log helps us find it. Only send it if you're happy to.
