Privacy policy
Last updated: October 21, 2026
This policy explains how the Lukas AI app for Windows (“the app”) and this website handle information. The app is made by Lukas Palmer (“we”, “us”). Questions: support@lukasai.app.
1. What the app looks at
Only while a task from your calendar is going on, and only after you've agreed on first start, the app checks every few minutes (you choose how often):
- The window you're in: the app's name and the window's title.
- The website address when that window is Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome, read from the address bar.
- A screenshot, only when the window's name isn't enough to tell whether you're on task. It's kept in memory, described in one sentence by an AI model running on your laptop, and then discarded. Screenshots are never written to disk and never sent anywhere.
- How long since you last used the keyboard or mouse, only during tasks you've set to “not tracked” (like the gym), to see whether you stepped away.
It doesn't look at anything when no task is going on, while watching is paused, or when the app is turned off.
2. What the app keeps, on your laptop only
Everything is stored in one folder on your computer: %LOCALAPPDATA%\ScheduleCoach.
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| One record per check: time, task, app name, window title, website, the AI's one-sentence description, on or off task | So you can see your history, Insights and correct mistakes. You can turn off saving window titles, websites and AI descriptions in Settings → Privacy. |
| Pages it learned or you blocked for a task | So it doesn't ask you about the same page again. |
| Your tasks, and which calendar items you marked done or not done | To show your task list and how long things really took. |
| Your settings | To remember your choices. |
| Your Google sign-in token (if you connect Google Calendar) | So you don't have to sign in every time. |
| Events in the app's own calendar (if you use it instead of Google) | That's your calendar. |
| An error log | To help fix problems. It stays on your laptop unless you choose to send it to us. |
None of this is sent to us or anyone else.
3. What leaves your laptop
- Google Calendar, only if you connect it. See section 4.
- AI model downloads. The AI runs in Ollama, a separate free program. When you set it up, the AI models are downloaded through Ollama, which is subject to Ollama's own privacy policy. Your screen, windows and history are never sent to Ollama's servers: the AI runs locally.
- Nothing else. The app has no analytics, no crash reporting to us, no advertising and no tracking.
4. Google user data
If you choose to connect Google Calendar, the app asks for permission to see and edit events in your calendar (the Google scope
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events). It uses that access only to:
- read your events, to know which task is going on now and to show your day and week;
- create, move, resize, shorten or delete events, only when you do so in the app (adding a task, dragging a block, adding a break, cutting a task short, deleting an item), and to remove the future blocks of a task you finish or delete;
- change an event's colour when you mark it done (green) or not done (red), and put its colour back when you clear the mark.
Your Google Calendar data is processed on your laptop. It is not sent to us, not sold, not shared with third parties, not used for advertising, and not used to train any AI models. The sign-in token is stored only on your laptop.
Lukas AI's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can disconnect at any time in the app (Settings → Calendar → Disconnect), and remove the app's access to your Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
5. Your choices and control
- Pause or turn off watching at any time, from the app or its tray icon.
- Don't save details: Settings → Privacy → stop saving window titles, websites and AI descriptions.
- Correct or forget: fix any check in History, and remove anything the app learned on the Learned page.
- Delete everything: uninstall the app and delete the folder
%LOCALAPPDATA%\ScheduleCoach. Because we don't hold any of your data, that removes it completely.
6. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live (for example in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or a US state with a privacy law such as California or Kentucky), you may have the right to know what personal information a company holds about you, to get a copy, to correct it, to have it deleted, and to opt out of its sale or use for targeted advertising.
Because the app keeps your information only on your own laptop, you can see, correct and delete all of it yourself (see section 5). We don't hold any of it, and we never sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. The only personal information we may have is your email address and messages, if you've emailed us. To get a copy of those or have them deleted, email support@lukasai.app and we'll do it within 30 days. We won't treat you differently for asking.
7. This website
This website doesn't use cookies, analytics or trackers. It's hosted by Cloudflare, whose servers may keep standard technical logs (like IP addresses) for security. If you email us, we use your email address only to reply, and to tell you about the app if you asked for early access.
8. Children
The app isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
9. Security
Your data stays on your own device, protected by your Windows account. Keep your laptop's account password-protected,
and don't share the ScheduleCoach folder: it contains your Google sign-in token if you connected Google Calendar.
10. Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and, for important changes, tell you in the app.
